Privacy
Stream Table is built for classrooms. It has no accounts and no ads, and it doesn’t track you. Here is exactly what it stores and sends.
- AccountsNone. Nobody signs in.
- TrackingNo analytics, no ads, no tracking cookies.
- Your workStays in your browser on your device.
What stays on your device
Stream Table saves your settings in your browser’s local storage: light or dark mode, detail level, brush size and strength, whether the Controls panel is open, and whether you’ve seen the welcome card and first tips. The landscape itself is not saved. None of this leaves your device. Clearing your browser’s site data for stream-table.science removes it.
What gets sent, and where
- Share links. A shared setup travels inside the link itself, after the
#, which browsers never send to a server. Stream Table doesn’t store shared setups. - Pictures and worksheets. Saving a picture or printing a lab worksheet happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
- Feedback. The Feedback form sends your message, and your email address if you give one, to Mike by email so he can reply. Stream Table doesn’t store it. Please don’t include student names.
- Support. The Support button takes payments through Stripe. Stripe’s code loads only when you open the Support window, and your card or wallet details go straight to Stripe in a secure frame. Stream Table never sees or stores them; it only learns the amount.
- 3D library. The 3D graphics library (three.js) loads from cdnjs, a public code library run by Cloudflare. It sees a standard request for the file, nothing about your work.
Hosting and logs
Stream Table runs on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare records basic request details, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. These are used only to keep the site running and secure. They are kept for a short time and then deleted automatically.
Students and schools
Stream Table doesn’t ask for, collect or store students’ personal information, so there is nothing to share or sell. Students can use it without signing in or giving an email address.
